About us
Our Legacy of Royal Craftsmanship
For generations, the art of jewellery making has flowed through our family’s veins. Ozorna — The Brand is not merely a business, but the continuation of a royal legacy. Rooted in the Neelawala Nawarathna heritage, our ancestors were the master jewellers who once crafted treasures for Sri Lankan kings — creations of gold, silver, and precious stones that adorned royalty with pride and grace.
The Origins of Our Craft
The story begins centuries ago, with the Muhandiram lineage of Aldeniya and Mangala, descendants of the gold swordsmiths who journeyed from India to the royal courts of Kotte.
During the reign of King Bhuvanekabahu IV, a gifted craftsman was brought to the palace on an elephant — honored for his extraordinary skill in creating devices and ornaments for the king. He was granted the title Mandavalli Naide and gifted the village of Mangalagama as a symbol of royal gratitude.
From that moment, our family became known as guardians of the craft — each generation perfecting the artistry of metal, gem, and form.
A Heritage Reborn
Centuries later, Ozorna — The Brand rises as a modern tribute to that timeless lineage.
Every design is inspired by royal Sri Lankan artistry — refined through over 25 years of craftsmanship.
Our signature collections — Golden Era, Red Era, Fiance, White Era, and Gents Era — each capture a distinct story: from the splendor of the past to the elegance of today.
